Lest anyone dare to think that I have it all together and my priorities are perfectly in order…
This is the current state of my clean laundry:
And this is what the kids and I spent half the morning working on (instead of folding laundry):
It’s 2:30 in the afternoon and the laundry still sits untouched. But we did get to enjoy these for an afternoon snack. (No one seems to mind…except maybe Eric, when he can’t find any clean shirts.)
{This post was inspired by my friend, Laura, and her “For Real” blog posts.}
Linking up (a few days late) with GraceLaced Mondays … because I’m desperately in need of grace today (and every day!)

Thank you for this post, Abby. It makes me feel better about my giant pile of laundry! (except mine is dirty…;-)
I could have posted a pic of my dirty laundry, too — I think it’s just as big as the clean laundry pile! The cycle never ends!
You’re doing a good job, Mama. A sweet memory you’ve made with them…sweeter than that of putting on a clean, unwrinkled shirt, yes? I should say so.
It’s good to read the truth and perspective God is teaching you so early in the parenting-several-little-ones journey!
Oh goodness, your For Real is so cute and yummy!
